Big Toilet Radio is an independent online radio station based in Amsterdam Nieuw-West accessible online at www.bigtoilet.radio. Founded in late 2022 by Goy Tung and Eurico Sá Fernandes, it is dedicated to showcasing exceptional local talent and fostering a vibrant underground music community in Amsterdam. Our mission is to provide a platform for creative expression and experimentation within the medium of radio. We empower contributors by offering full autonomy over their show's content and welcome proposals from anyone passionate about the medium. This results in a dynamic and diverse lineup, featuring everything from live performances and DJ sets to talk shows, interviews, discussions, and even cooking shows. Big Toilet broadcasts live every two weeks from our studio at Broedplaats De Vlugt in Slotermeer. We also organize special public events, often held at cultural venues across Amsterdam, providing a chance to connect directly with our audience. Recent event locations include OCCII, W139, De Sering and Bar Theo, among others. These events help us expand our reach and strengthen our community.
