NOISE CART is noise in a shopping cart. Etta's NOISE CART uses no input-mixing and tape recordings of day-to-day life to create an overwhelming and immersive sound. She enjoys being on the edge between control and chaos, with the intent of overwhelming the listener.
Etta HarBar captures the cathartic allure of noise by transforming familiar sounds into distorted and chaotic patterns. To make her own distinct music she creates her own instruments from circuit bent children's toys, broken cassettes, and any discarded materials she can get her hands on. These scrappy sounds mixed with drum machines and lots of guitar pedals create eclectic and chaotic noisy mayhem. Each set is different and explores a new type and field of music from harsh noise to ambient to tekno to breakcore. In the last few years she has performed at: U? Festival, Kabul a Go Go, Stranded FM, Operator Radio, the Helling, Hall of Fame Tilburg, Worm Rotterdam, Paridiso, Tivoli, Le Guess Who?, Y? Tekfest, Can of Worms, Modulation,
