This documentary film about noise music in Yogyakarta is entitled Noise
is Serious Shit and is directed by Hilman Fathoni.
This film was produced around 2014 and the director's cut version was
screened at the Persami Experimental event around 2016.
In 2023, this film was edited to meet audience comfort standards with a
duration of around 60 minutes and complete with English subtitles. The
2023 version of the film was first screened at the Gamut Labyrint
festival in Zurich (Switzerland) in October 2023.
It is planned that this film will be made on a screening tour to several
cities & countries as part of the road to Jogja Noise Bombing Festival
2024 (4-5 May).
