Von Nohrfeldt confronts rhythmic electronica with contemporary (classical) textures and tonal structures. The natural details of acoustic, human played, instruments are digitally transformed to so form a symbiotic counterpoint to computerized beats. The use of samples raises questions about how to form original creations, and how we can reach back into our classical heritage to push contemporary electronic (dance) music a step further. Now boundaries are being pushed by experiment. But the results, however surrealist they might be, should be music, a personal expression, not an experiment.
