Torquemada is the brain child of Louis Marlon who started as DJ for parties at Headroom NL and the Gerrit Rietveld Academy.
Eventually feeling connected to the The Hague scene he moved there after and studied "Beeld & Geluid" (now known as ArtScience). For a while he abandoned DJ'ing for a growing interest in drone, noise and industrial music and film music (for non-existent films). Though, in 2012 the love for DJ'ing returned and with his moniker Torquemada he found a place in the The Hague underground scene evolving around Bunker Records.
He has been a regular at Bunker parties such as Dystopia and has been playing on radio stations like Radio Tonka and Intergalactic FM.
For his set at SOTU Festival you can expect the typical The Hague Bunker sound combined with dirty ACID.
