Herve Sika is a producer from Ivorycoast, currently living in the Netherlands.
His style is a one of obscure sampling madness and abstract effects combined with elements from hip hop, dub, grime and foobwork.
Sika was born in Abidjan where he grew up with traditional African music, in specific the music made by his family TP Audio Rama. In the way he works with his own sounds this influence can be heard back. The tempo, rhythm and minimalism as basis are all directed related to his roots.
Also in his music there is place for his love for old electronic instruments and samplers.
H-Sik has released EP's on Error Broadcast and Balck Acre.
