Steffan de Turck and Bram Stadhouders form an interesting duo. One is a classically trained guitarist, musicologist, conductor and composer, the other one a jazz guitarist and improvisational musician. Both posses a high level of musical intellect, taking cues from a wide range of genres such as minimal music, Norwegian impro and contemporary compositions. Together they offer a fresh and progressive take on the combination of improvisation and composition, a guitaristic innovation.
